Anne L. Drawson

Anne L. Drawson, 90, of Mitchell, Nebraska, died Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Mitchell Care Center. Cremation has taken place and no services will be held. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting Anne’s obituary page viewable at www.reverencefuneralparlor.com.

Anne was born January 29, 1934, in Oklahoma to Elmer and Anna (Pugsley) Stone.

She had various jobs throughout the years, but the most significant was her work as an administrative assistant at the Weitzman Institute of Science in Israel. Anne was extremely intelligent and an expert typist, making her the ideal candidate for the position which she held for fifteen years.

Anne enjoyed being outdoors with her hands in the dirt, tending to her garden. She was an avid reader, filling a lot of her free time absorbing hundreds of books.

Survivors include her children, Daniel Walker, David (Maria) McGuire, and Annette Flaten; grandchildren, Amanda (Brian) Bosn, Andrew Flaten, Brandy Walker, and Adam Walker; great-grandchildren, Blake Bower, Riley Bower, and Jacob Bosn; brother, Hugh (Judy) Stone; along with other extended family members.

Anne was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Anna; and husband, David C. Drawson.
