Charles Riker

Charles L. Riker Sr., formerly of Gering, died Friday, April 16, 2021 at Chimney Rock Villa in Bayard.  Cremation has taken place.

Charles was born June 21, 1933 in Dover, New Jersey.  He served in the New Jersey National Guard for four years.  Charles later moved to Nebraska where he made a life working as a craftsman and specialized in house painting.

Survivors include his children, Charles Riker Jr., Henry Riker, Cindy Riker-Lockburner, Susan Riker-Kately, Tina Riker, Dawn Riker-Federer, Sheila Riker and Roy Riker; ten grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and former wife, Betty Riker.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and infant daughter, Diana.
