Chester was born October 9, 1978 in Mill Hall, Pennsylvania to Vincent and Flora (Sorgenti) Peluso.  He graduated from Bald Eagle Nittany High School in 1997.  Chester enlisted in the United States Marine Corps following graduation. He proudly served for 12.5 years and had two deployments to Iraq during that time.  He was honorably discharged in 2009.

Chester married Nickole Soto on August 11, 2007 in Nevada, Iowa.  The couple later moved to Gering where they made a life together with their four children.

He received his Bachelor of Science from American Military University.  Chester was employed with the United States Postal Service and was a mail carrier throughout the Scottsbluff/Gering area for the past five years.

Chester liked spending time working on his Jeep, go-karts, and rebuilding engines.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and listening to music.  He was a member of the American Legion and an avid Penn State football fan.  Most of all, he loved spending time with his wife, his four kids and his three dogs.  Chester was a fun, energetic, goofy, and loving man.
