Daniel Lee Ostermiller

Daniel Lee Ostermiller, 63, of Gering, Nebraska passed away unexpectedly Friday, August 4, 2023, at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff. Daniel was born March 15, 1960, to Gordon Lee and Judy Maxine (Stutsman) Ostermiller in Scottsbluff. He enjoyed receiving his education in the Gering Valley where he made lifelong friends.

Daniel began working as a parts man with John Deere in O’Neill, Nebraska. He loved every minute working with his co-workers and customers. He continued his career with 21^st Century in Scottsbluff in 2010 where he finished his 26-year career. Daniel’s health forced his early retirement in 2019.

Daniel was an avid sportsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing along with taking long walks.

Survivors include his parents, Gordon and Judy Ostermiller; brothers, Lance, Dale and Lee Ostermiller; nephew, Chase Ostermiller; and his friends for life, Doug and Charlie.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Leroy Ostermiller.

His family would like to thank his neighbor, Randy, for helping Dan in his last years as well as many other family and friends for all their loving assistance.
