Dominic Scott Marshall, 42, of Gering, made his journey home on Friday, March 25, 2022 surrounded by family and friends at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff. Viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Reverence Funeral Parlor in Scottsbluff. A procession will transport Dominic to the Lakota Lutheran Center in Scottsbluff at 1:30 p.m. and a funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. at the center with Pastor William Voss officiating. A meal and fellowship will follow. A wake service will continue until 8 p.m. and dinner will be provided that evening at 5 p.m. at the center. Cremation will take place Friday, April 1, 2022. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 2, 2022 also at the Lakota Lutheran Center in Scottsbluff with Pastor William Voss officiating. Dominic was born August 25, 1979 in Scottsbluff to Deloris Mae Marshall. He attended Scottsbluff Public Schools.
Dominic made a life with Theresa Ozuna and together they had two children. He also helped raise his four stepchildren.
He was employed at Aulick Industries for fifteen years. Dominic enjoyed barbequing, camping at the lake, and bonfires. He loved spending time with his kids and watching football, especially the Denver Broncos.
Survivors include his children, Dominic Jr. of Alliance, Diamond of Bayard, D’Shaun of Oklahoma, Devin “Debo” of Gering, and Dakotah of Gering; four stepchildren all of Gering; two grandbabies; siblings, Daniel (Darcy) of Alliance, Charity (Jesse) of Scottsbluff, and Karlow of Scottsbluff; significant other, Theresa of Gering; one uncle; along with numerous aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Dominic was preceded in death by his mother, Deloris Marshall; his grandparents; uncles, Scott and Jr.; aunt, Betty; and cousin, Vivian Ozuna.
