Felicia "Cia" G. Janis

Felicia G. Janis, or "Cia", as everyone knew her, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 9, 2026, at her home in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Her wake service will begin at 4 p.m., Thursday, March 19, 2026, at the Lakota Lutheran Center & Chapel in Scottsbluff. A memorial service will take place the following day, at 10:30 a.m., on Friday, March 20, also at the Lakota Lutheran Center & Chapel. Memorials may be made in care of the family. Felicia was born on July 18, 1989, to Iva Renee Poor Bear and Edward David Janis Sr.

She was a beloved daughter, sister, and devoted mother whose life was centered around her family. Felicia will be remembered for the love she shared with those around her and the deep care she had for her children. Her presence brought warmth, strength, and compassion to the lives of those who knew her.

Survivors include her children, Liyah Skye Janis, Alyna Rae Hernandez, and Meillana Atlantice Janis-LittleWolf, who were her greatest joy. She is also survived by the love of her life, Patrick LittleWolf; her father, Edward Janis Sr.; and her siblings, Angela Janis, Andrea Janis, Elizabeth Janis, Edwin Janis, Edward Janis Jr. “Stewy”, Evelyn Janis, and Erika DeMott; along with extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory.

Felicia was preceded in death by her mother, Iva Poor Bear; sister, Cierra Janis; and maternal grandfather, Hanson Poor Bear.

Felicia's life, though far too short, touched many, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
