Francisco "Frank" Javier Robles

Francisco Javier Robles, age 73, of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, passed away surrounded by his loved ones on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff. Cremation has taken place in accordance with his wishes. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, May 15, 2026, at Cornerstone Church in Scottsbluff. A private family graveside service will be held at a future date at Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff. Frank was born on July 11, 1952, in Santa Bárbara, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Javier and Ventura (Mendoza) Robles. He was one of eleven children and grew up surrounded by family. Frank worked in a bakery as a young man before coming to the United States at the age of 19 in search of opportunity and a better future.

He arrived in America and built a life through hard work and dedication. Frank worked as a bartender at Paul’s Club and later as a mechanic at Dalton Buick. He proudly became a United States citizen, a milestone that meant a great deal to him.

Frank married Valerie Ann Hernandez on April 12, 1974, and together they raised three children. He took great pride in being a Tata and great-grandfather.

Survivors include his children, Anna-Lisa, Dustin (Kayla), and Danny Robles; grandchildren, Francisco Robles, Marisa Rasnic (Jarron), Diego Magdaleno, Illiana Magdaleno, Ty Robles, and Kara Robles; great grandchild, Merci Jay Rasnic; siblings, Kika, Blanca, Geraldo, Sylvia, Patty, Griselda, Yuli, Sergio, and Aby; and numerous nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Valerie Robles; brother, Sergio Robles; and parents, Ventura and Javier Robles.
