Haroldene Iron Horse Rodriguez, 55, of Scottsbluff, died unexpectedly Saturday, June 18, 2022, in a vehicle accident in Deuel County, Nebraska. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, June 27, 2022, at ACTS United Pentecostal Church in Scottsbluff with Pastor Larry Daugherty officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m., Sunday, June 26, 2022, at the church. The funeral service will be livestreamed and recorded to Haroldene’s obituary page viewable at www.reverencefuneralparlor.com. Memorials may be made in care of the family.
Haroldene was born December 4, 1966, in Scottsbluff to Ernest and Martha (Gray Grass) Iron Horse. She graduated from Scottsbluff High School and later attended the nursing program at WNCC.
She was united in marriage to Leopoldo Rodriguez on December 31, 1997.
Haroldene was a hard-working provider throughout her life. She was previously employed at Beverly Care Center, Head Start, Packerland, Ideal Linen, Super 8 and the Monument Inn. Haroldene was a current employee at Skillz at the time of her passing.
Her enjoyments included shopping and extreme couponing. She was an expert at laundry. Haroldene will be lovingly remembered for always laughing, smiling, and dancing.
Survivors include her husband, Polo; children, Joshua Bordeaux, Jordan Bordeaux, Karissa Bordeaux, Keilly Iron Horse, Charles (Caleigh) Poor Bear, Brayden Rowland and Briley Darley; grandchildren, Kadence, Kionna, Amelia, Kaullani, Sincere, Azmariah, Elysha, Nayeli, Ellianna, Amaziah, Ava and Sage; sisters, Bonnie Iron Horse and Robin Carreon; mother-in-law, Sanjuana Rodriguez; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Sanjuana (Martin) Navarro, Angelina (Joe) Baum, Rolando Rodriguez, and Romeo (Irma) Rodriguez; along with extended family members and friends.
Haroldene was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Faye Chief Eagle, David Iron Horse Sr., Norwood Iron Horse, and Paula Rodriguez; and father-in-law, Juan Antonio Rodriguez.
