Jaden Jackson Thacker

Jaden Jackson Thacker, age 29, of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, left Earth on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 after fighting cancer for the last 15 years. He won some battles, but in the end, he lost the war. A celebration of his life will take place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Papa Moon, 3109 Avenue B in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Jaden wanted his family and friends to come together to enjoy some of his favorite things. Memorials may be made to The Festival of Hope. Jaden was born on October 28, 1995, to Andy and Cody (Graham) Thacker in Sterling, Colorado.

He started his education at Lake Alice Elementary, north of Scottsbluff. Jaden moved to Alliance, Nebraska, and graduated from Alliance High School in 2014. He went on to attend Western Nebraska Community College in Scottsbluff.

Jaden enjoyed playing the French Horn for the marching band while in high school. He was very talented, loved to fold origami, and enjoyed speaking Spanish and French when he got the chance. Jaden’s favorite hobby was playing Magic: The Gathering with friends.

Survivors include his Great Grandmother, Dottie Graham; Grandparents, Grammy Donna Thacker, Papa Russ and Jody Thacker, Grandpa Randy and Nana Carol Graham, Grandfather Dan and Grandmother Cheryl Bunch; Parents, Andy and Amy Thacker; Aunts and Uncles, Suzy and Jeff Lygeros, Kelli and Tony McCaffrey, Jeff and Adrianne Bunch; Brothers, Colin and William Thacker; Cousins, Kaidynce and Jakob Lygeros, Ryan and David McCaffrey, Colby and Hannah Bunch; Close Friends, Miranda and Ethan Allen, David Loveridge, Blake Wohlers; and many Magic: The Gathering friends.

The family would like to thank everyone at Home Instead and Brookstone Hospice for everything they did for them and Jaden.
