Jaz was born in Pordenone, Italy on October 31, 1979, to Bruce and Juanita (Duarte) Allmer.
He spent his early childhood in Riverside, California up until the age of three. He then moved with his family to the Eaton area, where he spent time catching toads, grasshoppers and spending lazy summer days in the tree house. Jaz attended Eaton schools until moving to Gilcrest where he graduated.
His first job was flipping burgers at Wendy's where his favorite thing became eating lemon slices. He worked at various other places doing stucco for some time. He later began working for the United States Postal Service as a carrier, a job he held for thirteen years. Eventually, he decided to go back to his creative nature and returned to stucco, painting and building.
Jaz was a true artist with painting, drawing and sculpture. He was born an artist and everything he did was as an artist. He played guitar and other string instruments and was a member of the garage band, "Cover".
He enjoyed fishing and spending time with friends and family. Jaz was someone reliable who would help anyone in need, even by giving his own coat off his back to a stranger.
Survivors include his parents, Bruce and Juanita; brother, Jordan; niece, Kaylene; numerous uncles, aunts and cousins; loving fiancée, Kayleigh; and many, many friends.
He was preceded in death his sister, Brandy Allmer; maternal grandparents, Jess and Helen Duarte; and grandmother, Annie Hillman.
