Jordan Martinez

Jordan Martinez, age 29, of Scottsbluff, Nebraska passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024. 

Jordan was born on April 13, 1995, in Fremont, Nebraska to Ben and Michelle (Rundback) Martinez. His bright personality filled a room, and he touched more lives than he could’ve imagined. He had the biggest smile, the absolute best laugh, and enjoyed simple things in life.

Jordan was raised in North Platte and graduated from North Platte High School in 2013. He graduated from Mid Plains Voc-Tech two years later in Auto Body. He had a large group of friends and many close ones who he had the best time with attending concerts. He experienced awesome adventures while exploring several states and had great trips with his closest friend. 

Jordan had several hobbies and a heart of pure gold. He enjoyed playing guitar, singing, and listening to his vinyl collection. His gift for composing music and producing videos was extraordinary and evident in the works of art he created inside his music studio. He had many talents including polaroid photography. Flying kites, biking, fishing, and visiting lakes were some activities he enjoyed the most when spending time outdoors. He always treasured and enjoyed visits to his grandma’s farm.

Survivors include his mom, Michelle Rundback Martinez; dad, Ben Martinez; sister, Brittney Martinez; half-sister, Chandra Martinez; grandma, Charlotte Rundback; uncles and aunts, Frank and Cheryl Aragon and Guy and Marj Rundback; along with several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Morton Rundback; uncle, Mike Rundback; grandparents, Domingo and Stella Martinez; and aunts, Josephine Knobel and Rosie Martinez.
