Jordan Joel Pedersen

Jordan Joel Pedersen, age 35, of Mitchell, Nebraska, passed away unexpectedly following health complications on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at Box Butte General Hospital in Alliance, Nebraska. A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Legion Park in Gering, Nebraska. Cremation has taken place in accordance with his wishes. Memorials may be made to the Jordan Pedersen Memorial Fund at Pinnacle Bank in Mitchell. Jordan was born on March 19, 1990, in Vallejo, California, to Ralph and Sandra (Carlson) Pedersen.

He was an avid outdoorsman and jumped at every chance to immerse himself in nature. Whether it was biking, camping, hitting golf balls at the driving range, or spending leisurely days by the lake, he embraced it all. He had a passion for music and often traveled to various states to enjoy live music events. Jordan was a devoted companion to many dogs over his lifetime. Known for his adventurous spirit, he easily attracted children with his zest for life.

His eyes always had a sparkle, and his unmistakable laughter was a huge part of his vibrant personality. He was exceptionally friendly, caring, considerate, and selfless. While he lived life to the fullest, he stayed true to his gentle and kind-hearted nature.

Survivors include his parents, Ralph and Sandy Pedersen; siblings, Jacob and Jesse Pedersen; paternal grandmother, Judi Pedersen; as well as many extended family members and countless friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Joe Pedersen; and maternal grandparents, Stewart and Marilyn Carlson.
