Jordan Lee Sell

Jordan Lee Sell, age 33, of Scottsbluff, Nebraska,  passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, following the heartache of the loss of his beloved mom, Lora, just one week prior. A celebration of Jordan’s life will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, June 27, 2025, at Grace Chapel in Scottsbluff with Pastor Bruce Peterson officiating. Jordan will be laid to rest alongside his mom at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery near Scottsbluff. Jordan was born on February 27, 1992, in Scottsbluff to Lora Sell. He was a beloved son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. Jordan was raised by his mother in Scottsbluff and graduated from Scottsbluff High School in 2010. He went on to further his education at WNCC.

Jordan loved any and all animals. Especially his own, Korra and Donut. He enjoyed caring for others including his grandparents, cousins, and mother. Jordan worked many jobs throughout his life which taught him numerous skills. He was a quick and adaptive learner, always eager to take on the next challenge. Beyond Jordan's intelligence, he was a kind and caring person with a huge heart. Jordan had a way of making everyone feel valued, seen, and loved. His smile could light up any room he walked into. He was also a huge fan of music and sports. Jordan loved the color purple, Baltimore Ravens, Nebraska Huskers, and the Denver Nuggets. Some of his hobbies included gaming on his PC with friends and being outdoors.

He also liked bird watching, collecting batman items, traveling, and talking sports and news any chance he had. He loved attending concerts and trying new foods, and recipes. Jordan had a way of making others feel comfortable and valued their opinions. He always gave great advice in life's more serious moments and delivered it without any judgement.

Anyone who had the chance to know Jordan, knew how he would leave his imprint with you. He was and will continue to be, very well-loved, and will be incredibly missed by many.

Survivors include his uncle, Troy Sell (Kacey); aunt, Jill Armstrong (Toby); numerous cousins, Jordan Moreno (Carrie Snyder), Taylor Tapster (Miranda Molina), Justis Sell (Winter Keller), Michael Sell (Lacey), Kayla Follman (Zane), Marcus Sell (Samantha), Keara Sell, Teagan Sell, Aiden Sell, Josiah, Ariea, Selena, Hendrix, Ruby, Aiden, Harpyr, Liam, Ashton, Parker, Evelyn, Jack, Mia and Avery; great aunts and great uncles, Lynnette Delcamp (Ed), Susie Hennings (Kenny), John Carey (Johnna), Randall Vaughn and Michael Vaughn (Rita); his mom's husband, Erick Wagoner; half-siblings, Andrea Morton (Chris), Carrin Malaney Atencio (Christopher), and Josh Perlinger (Nichole); and nieces and nephews, Kara and Rosie, Kasen and Jace, Tate, Hazen and baby nephew due in November.

Jordan was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Larry Sell and Tana Oksendahl; mother, Lora Sell; and uncle, Mark Sell.
