Linda Sue Staman, age 74, of Gering, Nebraska, passed into glory at her home, on Sunday, July 6, 2025, after a long battle with cancer. Cremation has taken place in accordance with her wishes. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Northfield Church in Gering with Dr. Kiley Callaway officiating. Linda was born on February 3, 1951, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, to Joseph and Bernice (Langhofer) Lojka. She graduated from Scottsbluff High School in 1969.
She accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior in March of 1971. Linda married James Lamberson in October 1971, and they later divorced. She then married Bradley Ralph Staman on June 3, 1989.
Linda enjoyed volunteering for Camp Fire and started as a camp leader from 1977 through 1983. She was employed by Camp Fire from 1983 to 1989. She later worked as an ad designer at The Business Farmer and the Star-Herald in Scottsbluff. Linda and her husband Brad owned and operated The Daily Grind Coffeehouse from 2004 to 2019.
She loved to crochet and donated lap blankets and baby blankets to the Regional West Infusion Center and Northfield Church.
Survivors include her husband, Bradley Staman; daughters, Felicia (Cody) Dombrovski and Dawn Darling; grandchildren Jacob, Joseph, Rebekah, and Rachel Darling, and Zachary and Karsten Dombrovski; siblings, Lois (Mike) Hammack; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Larry Lojka; and nieces, Cindy Newman and Tracy Hammack.
