She was employed at Sonny’s Super Foods until 2018. She liked watching her favorite shows and movies.  Mariza was known for her infectious smile, laugh and her big heart. She had a positive attitude and a love for life that compared to none. She was very close to her three brothers, and they will miss her deeply, but they are thankful for the time they had with her. They will carry the memories of their endless laughter together.

Mariza was diagnosed with cancer four years ago, but she faced it with grace and courage until the end.

Survivors include her loving parents, Jesus and Blanca Lamas; siblings, Zaid, Alex and Omar Lamas; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
