Rebecca "Becky" Tripp Ward

Rebecca “Becky” Tripp Ward, beloved spouse, mother, sister, and grandmother, age 64, of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at her home. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, September 18, 2026, at First Presbyterian Church in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, with Pastors Jeff and April Fiet officiating. Inurnment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff. Memorials may be made in care of her spouse, Jacie Ward (709 West 25th Street, Scottsbluff, Nebraska 69361). Becky was born on July 28, 1962, in Omaha, Nebraska, and adopted by Calvin Eugene and Gladys Jean (Tripp) Lenhart that September. She attended Scottsbluff Public Schools, where she met the love of her life, Jacie Ward. They married and shared 45 years together while raising three beautiful children.

Becky was a devoted lifelong member of the First Presbyterian Church and loved her craft club. She enjoyed cheering on the Rockies and going to games with her brother Matt even more! Her best times were baiting a hook with Jacie and casting into deep waters on a still evening. Becky loved her job in hospitality at Regional West Medical Center, but her favorite job was being a loving grandmother to her beautiful grandchildren.

Survivors include her loving spouse, Jacie Ward; children, Charles (Cecilia Stinner), Wendy, and Albert (Michaela Miller); grandchildren, Madelynn and Bradley Stinner, Berlyn Spencer, and Hanah and Emily Ward.

Becky was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin and Gladys “Tripp” Lenhart.
