Rhonda Lee Haworth

Rhonda Lee Haworth, 67, entered her heavenly home on Sunday, July 16, 2023, at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Emmanuel Congregational Church in Scottsbluff with Pastor Garry Schick officiating. Cremation has taken place. Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to Emmanuel Congregational Church; 4100 Ave B, Scottsbluff, NE 69361. Rhonda was a loving and faithful woman who loved the Lord, her family, church, and community.

Rhonda was born April 2, 1956, in Torrington, Wyoming, the daughter of William L. and Delores Darlene (Herman) Schwartzkopf. She received Christian teaching starting at an early age and continuing through high school when she was confirmed at Congregational Church of Christ in Torrington. Rhonda received her early education in Torrington schools and later at Veteran, Wyoming where she graduated from Goshen Hole High School in 1974.

Rhonda worked at various jobs in Torrington and Scottsbluff before she found her calling and became a CNA at Northfield Villa in Scottsbluff.  She eventually began providing transportation for the residents of the facility. She was employed there for 26 years and loved her job and all the people that she encountered. Her caring nature was evident to all who knew her.

Eldon J. Haworth and Rhonda were married on January 26, 2002, in Scottsbluff at the Northfield Villa. Her friends and coworkers at Northfield Villa organized the wedding ceremony and reception.

Rhonda was a member of Emmanuel Congregational Church in Scottsbluff where she enjoyed putting together the Sunday bulletin, working in the office and any other task she could do within the church.

Rhonda only had a few hobbies, but did like puzzles, and enjoyed cooking from German cookbooks and trying new recipes. Her greatest passion was caring for her family in whatever capacity she was needed.

Rhonda is survived by her husband of 21 years, Eldon; daughter, Cally (Josh); son, Randy (Missy); granddaughters, Vanessa and Breanna; grandson, Nick; sisters-in-law, Twila Haworth and Carolyn Sclisizzi; brothers-in-law, Raymond (Pam) Haworth, Tom Haworth, and Steve Haworth; sister, Jodene (Randy) Kimzey; nephew, Corey (Jessica) Kimzey; nieces, Brande (Josh) DeBree, Kara Kimzey and the children of her nieces and nephews, Taylor and Connor Kimzey, Braiden, Hunter and Baylee DeBree and Tristan Lind. Rhonda was dearly loved and will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father, William L Schwartzkopf; mother, Delores D. Bath; stepfather, lvan Bath; nephew, Trevor Kimzey and his son, Christopher Kimzey; sister-in-law, Faith Ann Haworth; and brother-in-law, Leandro Sclisizzi.
