Stephanie Jo Wilhelm

Stephanie Jo Wilhelm, age 58, of Gering, Nebraska, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Reverence Funeral Parlor in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, with Fr. Mike McDonald officiating. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at West Lawn Cemetery in Gering. Memorials may be made in care of the CAPWN Panhandle Youth Shelter or the American Diabetes Association. Stephanie was born on June 11, 1968, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, to Joseph Stephen and Marcia Gail (Gray) Dally. She graduated high school and soon entered the workforce.

She married Rockey Miles Wilhelm on November 16, 2004.

Stephanie had a fulfilling 25-year career at Community Action Partnership of Western Nebraska (CAPWN) as the youth shelter director. She also volunteered much of her free time to other activities and initiatives within the surrounding community.

Stephanie was a friend to all animals and cared for numerous beloved pets throughout her lifetime. She enjoyed gardening, canning, and cooking. She always looked forward to time with family and friends, celebrating any occasion, whether it was a birthday, St. Paddy’s Day, or the holidays. Stephanie was the life of the party and brought positive energy to every get-together.

Survivors include her siblings, Gina (Andy) Wlaschin, Angela (Jerry) Nowling, and Joseph C. Dally; stepfather, Charles Henry; stepson, Dylan Wilhelm and family; and her dog, Buddy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rockey Wilhelm in 2024; and parents, Joseph S. Dally and Marcia G. Henry.
