Tony Robert Harmon

Tony Robert Harmon, 68, of Dawson, Nebraska, passed away unexpectedly while working out of town in Minatare, Nebraska on Tuesday, August 1, 2023. A memorial service will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturday, August 12, 2023, at the Cancer Garden in Humboldt, Nebraska. Cremation has taken place in accordance with Tony’s wishes and he will be laid to rest at a later date near his home in south-eastern Nebraska. Tony was born February 21, 1955, in Sabetha, Kansas to Kenneth and Donna (Fairbanks) Harmon. He attended school at Dawson-Verdon High School, graduating with the class of 1973. Tony enlisted with the United States Marines following high school and served for three years before returning to Nebraska. 

Survivors include his sisters, Gail Harmon, Janie Roddy, and Cindy Bailey all of Burnet, TX and Jill Bratcher of Wakefield, KS; sons, Robert (Stephanie) Grant and Steven Grant all of Longmont, CO; grandchildren, Grayson and Waverly Grant also of Longmont, CO; six nieces and nephews; and seven great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Donna Harmon; and nephew, Kenneth Wesley Bratcher.
