Verla Jackson

The family of Verla Margaret Jackson announces with great sorrow her passing on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska.  She went home to be with Jesus after a brief battle with cancer.  A private Celebration of Life and scattering of cremated remains will occur at a later date.  Verla requested memorials be made to Cirrus House, a non-profit organization in Scottsbluff that advances mental wellness to individuals recovering from mental illness and/or substance abuse: Cirrus House 1509 1st Avenue, Scottsbluff, NE 69361.  Online condolences may be made by visiting www.reverencefuneralparlor.com.

Verla was born in Seward, Nebraska on March 12, 1961.  Verla was kind, generous and thoughtful.  She was always ready for a good laugh and enjoyed being around family and friends.

Survivors include her daughter, Diana (Clark) Diffendaffer of Gotha, Florida; sons, Michael Grant of Wahoo, Nebraska, and Robert (Janelle) Grant of Lincoln, Nebraska; six grandchildren, Brendan and Easton Diffendaffer of Gotha, Florida, Isabella and Zachary Grant of Lincoln, Nebraska and Clayton and EmmaLee Grant of Lincoln, Nebraska; and sister, Helen Trout of York, Nebraska.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
