Xavian was born on October 21, 1993, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, to Ben and Gina Macias. He grew up alongside his siblings—Leticha, Teanna, Dante, Ayden, and Aryssa—where he built lifelong friendships and began shaping the life he would go on to live.
From a young age, Xavian had a sense of humor that could brighten even the hardest days. He loved to make people laugh, often without realizing how much joy he brought into a room. His smile was full of life, and his laugh was the kind that stayed with you.
Xavian shared his early life with his sister, Leticha, with whom he was often inseparable. Their bond was one of deep understanding—often knowing what the other was thinking without ever having to say it. Seven years later, his sister Teanna joined the family, and Xavian embraced his role as a protective older brother, always watching out for her. Soon after, his younger brother Dante was born, and the two developed a close bond, spending time together working out and staying active. Ayden and Aryssa were later born as the babies of the family.
Xavian attended school from Elementary to Highschool in Scottsbluff and went on to complete two years of college at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where he formed more friendships before ultimately finding his way back home.
It was here that Xavian met Mindra Gibbons, and together they had two beautiful daughters, Azula Mae (8) and Evelyn Jo (6) Macias, whom he cherished, loved, and protected fiercely. Xavian was most proud to be a “girl dad,” and he made sure everyone knew it. Xavian was proud of the names he picked for his daughters and would tell everyone the meaning behind them. He enjoyed taking them to the pond and fishing, going on walks, visiting the park, and sharing quiet snuggles. Above all else, he was proud to be their father.
When he wasn’t spending time with his daughters, Xavian enjoyed being surrounded by others, especially cooking for family and friends. His love for football stayed with him throughout his life, continuing into adulthood as he played in flag football league. He also enjoyed watching games—especially cheering on the Denver Broncos—along with comedy movies and shows, and spending time with loved ones, from game nights to bonfires. He loved to have a full house.
The loss of Xavian leaves a space that can never truly be filled. He was a loyal, caring, and proud father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. His greatest legacy lives on through his daughters, who carry forward his strength, spirit, and love. They were his pride, his purpose, and his reason for everything. He will be deeply missed by his girls and by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
Survivors include his daughters, Azula Mae and Evelyn Jo Macias; parents, Ben and Gina Macias; siblings, Leticha (Xavier) Longoria, Teanna (Luke Ferguson), Dante (Jordan Hughey), Ayden, and Aryssa Macias; nieces, McKennah, Addison, and Kayleigh Longoria; nephews, Roman and Tobias Macias; grandparents, William and Lynne Macias; mother of his children, Mindra Gibbons; and many other extended family members and close friends.
