1931 - 2021


Dewayne Edward Nikodym, 90, of Scottsbluff, passed away quietly at his home on Friday, June 25, 2021.  Cremation has taken place per his wishes. 

Dewayne farmed and raised cattle northeast of Scottsbluff since 1964.  He retired from Burlington Northern Railroad in January 1998. 

He is survived by his wife, Merle, of nearly 58 years; and two sons, Anthony of Scottsbluff and Chris of Elkhorn, NE.

Merle, Joyce and John told us about Dewayne's passing. WE are so sorry to hear about this.  You've been fun great neighbours for us in Weslaco.  Dewayne will leave a huge void for sure.  We hope to see you this winter.  Love and hugs......Monique & Dan

Not sure if you remember me, but you used to make lemon bars and another desert for me back when we all worked with Dr. Rojas and the gang. I've never forgotten your kindness and what a fun friend you were!
