Scott Sutton

April 26, 1970 — May 30, 2022

Scott Lee Sutton, 52, of Mitchell, died unexpectedly on Monday, May 30, 2022 at his home. A private family service will be held.  Cremation has taken place in accordance with his wishes. Memorials may be made in care of the family and will be designated at a later date.  Online condolences may be made by visiting www.reverencefuneralparlor.com.

Scott was born April 26, 1970 in Bridgeport to Linda (Abel) Lojka.  He graduated from Scottsbluff High School.  He immediately entered the workforce and became a skilled welder.  Scott held various welding jobs before finding his home at B&C Steel where he was employed at the time of his passing.

He began each morning having coffee in the company of Sam, the family cat. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cruising the country roads.  His favorite band was Clutch.  Scott was funny, goofy, loud, and could always be found with a Miller Lite in hand.  He was an animal lover and an amazing grandpa to his grandchildren.  He spoiled them but passed on the same “Nub” thump his children grew up with if they misbehaved.

Scott truly had a heart of gold and sincerely cared about others.  He would do anything he could for someone in need.

Survivors include his fiancé, Senamon Rogers; children, Liz (Travis Arraj) Lund, Jade (Isaiah Baker) Sutton, Savannah (Justin Wells) Rogers, Zoey Rogers, and Garrett LeMaitre; grandchildren, Peyton, Parker, Paxten, Zac, Charlie, Phoenix, Willow, and Josh; his mother, Linda Lojka; and beloved dog, Oliver.  Scott was a father figure to several who loved him dearly including Dakota Abel and Keith Schanhols.

He was preceded in death by his aunts, Connie Abel and Vicky True; and cousin, Cutter Abel.
