- Our Services
On behalf of myself and my family, we would like to sincerely thank Stefanie, Oscar, and the entire staff of Reverence Funeral Parlor for the care of my mother, Jeanne Matthews. From the time she was placed in hospice care, through the memorial service, and the weeks following when financial matters were settled, Stefanie was with us every step of the way. Stefanie clearly explained the process, encouraged us that everything will be taken care of, and to just enjoy our time together. Stefanie and Oscar came directly to the care center after her death, ensured that our mother was placed in a nice outfit, and inquired as to her favorite music so that the music could be played while her body was being transported for cremation. The Reverence Funeral Parlor coordinated with the church, and managed the flowers as well as the online tributes. I honestly cannot say enough about their overall care and compassion. I would highly recommend their services for pre-planning or the care of a loved one who has passed.
I was so grateful to have Stephanie and Oscar care for my husband at this very tough time. My husband, Glen, was a decorated veteran, and they treated him with so much respect and dignity. They walked our family through every step and guided us to make the celebration of Glen’s amazing life memorable. Our family is forever grateful for them.
Favorable comments led us to choose Reverence Funeral Parlor for preplanning our final arrangements. We found the professionalism of Oscar and Stefanie, their presentation of services and answers to our questions to be superb and left feeling very content with the choice made. When a service was required, it was performed with the same diligence and the concern and compassion for me and my family helped immensely during a difficult time.
Stephanie and Oscar did an amazing job supporting our family through the loss of my precious wife Greta. From start to finish, they were caring and compassionate. They communicated with us daily to ensure all of our needs and Greta’s wishes were being met. Our family is so grateful for their services and support during this very difficult time. Thank you both and we wish you well as you serve others in need. May God Bless You!
I first met Stephanie and Oscar on Dec29th, when my husband Albert passed away and we had to make funeral arrangements. We couldn’t have asked for a most professional and loving couple to handle the funeral . They kept us updated and were very thoughtful and helpful with all of our needs. Stephanie and Oscar did an amazing job!!
Thank you Stephanie and Oscar, I consider you both as very close friends.
April 2021 My Dad, Charles L. Riker, Sr. passed away. I live in New Jersey and Dad was from the Gering area. Being out of state I did not know where to go, OR WHAT TO DO. I was recommended by a close personal friend of my Dad's about this VERY NEW FUNERAL HOME. I did not know how to put together a funeral. Luckily Stefanie Gonzalez with her compassion and helpfulness made one of the most difficult times of my life a little easier in a strange state, strange city. Stefanie was very diligent with her work and helped us put together a private family viewing for our Dad that would fit our budget. Stefanie was gentle and kind in a time of bereavement. A family run business by the kindest, gentlest people. They put my mind and heart at ease and helped me along this path at a time when I wasn't thinking clearly. An unfortunate service to need, but when we needed Reverence Funeral Parlor, Stefanie was wonderful with my family. I am so glad I took up the recommendation from my Dad's friend. I am honored to call Stefanie my friend.
I met Stefanie Gonzalez under the worst circumstances of my life. She took the best care of my baby Steven and of me and his dad. It was easy to fall in love with Stefanie because she is just so warm and loving. I remember being so weak and so emotionally drained that I just couldn’t do it..so Stef kindly took the reigns and my son had the most beautiful service. I remember telling her “please take care of my baby like he was your own” and she did exactly that. I later learned she had a big family like I do and I had the absolute pleasure of meeting them all. Our kids all got along and she’s been one of my dearest friends ever since!! Meeting her was insane but also a blessing. Seeing her journey along with her husband Oscar Gonzalez that I also love (sup brooooo) with this funeral home has been nothing short of amazing. You guys will do amazing and I am so proud of you. Any family that knows what it’s like to lose a loved one knows it sucks! But when you get the right person like I got Stef, you know you’ll always be taken care of.
Congratulations you two! I am so happy and proud of you both!
I first met Stephanie when my mother passed in 2011 and she was funeral director where we went. Immediately I felt a peace come over me as I spoke with her about my mother's funeral arrangements. The love for what she does is apparent and sincere. The respect and care she does for the deceased and loved ones that mourn them is a comfort in such a difficult time. There was no question in my mind where we would go when my brother passed in 2015 and then my father in 2017. Her Christian roots are deep in the Lord and that inner beauty of hers mirrors her outer beauty. With Stephanie you feel you are working with a family person and not a business when you go through process of a loved ones death. I trust her completely for the final care of my loved ones.
We are always interested in hearing from the families that we serve. Please take a moment to let us know how well we served you in your time of need. We very much appreciate your feedback.
